Great to see everyone, new photos and recordings

 
Thanks so much for coming out in early August; we had a great time, learned a lot about ourselves, and a lot about packing a 2001 Mercury Villager. We hope you did, too. Exit Ghost is holing up in Chicago for the beginning of September, tracking for an EP with a late-October release date in mind. Do send name suggestions to happening@evanholmes.com. Late September finds Rachel and Evan in St. Louis, MO at the PLAY! Stl. Music Festival, rocking their acoustic socks off. Exit Ghost plays Midpoint Music Festival in Cincinnati, OH on the 25th, with a TBA Columbus, OH warm-up show on the 24th. Tickets for Midpoint are available here. So maybe we'll see you out there! Pony Soldier EP -- here's the downlow(d)

  

The Pony Soldier EP (2009), recorded at Gravity Studios in Chicago IL., is up and streaming (or downloading, let's not forget downloading) HERE.  Backed by the stomping rhythm section of Jordan and Julian Stacey and the swirling strings of mysterious Rachel Kahn (Where Astronauts go to Hide), the EP was recorded semi-live over the course of a single day with producer Doug McBride (Smashing Pumpkins, Ben Kweller, Badly Drawn Boy) in hopes of capturing something like the energy and interplay of a performance.  So let's just think of it that way, but with less clapping and ID checking.
